Your Bloodwork Cheat Sheet

PreviewIt's waiting for you in the WhatsApp group

Hey {FIRST NAME},

As promised, your Bloodwork Cheat Sheet is ready.

It's the markers I'd ask your doctor for, and the optimal ranges I read them against.

They're grouped by hormones, thyroid, gut, inflammation and nutrients. Every marker has the standard range on one side and the optimal range sitting right next to it.

That second column is the bit nobody shows you.

Most men have only ever seen the first one. Land anywhere inside it and you're told you're normal and sent home.

I'm sharing it inside the WhatsApp group, along with the live link on Thursday: [WHATSAPP LINK]

Jump in, say g'day and grab it.

If you've got a recent blood test sitting in your inbox somewhere, dig it out and hold your numbers up against that second column before Thursday.

P.S. Next, I'll tell you why I never start a client on supplements, even though it's where most men start.

Why I never start with supplements

PreviewTest first, then the protocol, then the nervous system

Hey {FIRST NAME},

When men find me, most of them already have a protocol.

A supplement for the bloating, another one for sleep, something from the naturopath for energy, and maybe a TRT clinic on top.

Each one is a Band-Aid over the same underlying problem.

So I work in three stages, and the order never changes.

First, real answers. Proper testing (bloodwork, genetics and a deep health screening) with every result read against optimal ranges instead of the lab's normal.

Then, protocols built for you. Food, supplements, training and lifestyle, all worked out from your own numbers, so nothing's a guess.

Then, nervous system retraining. It's what makes the changes stick, instead of everything sliding back the minute work gets busy.

Most men start at stage two, with a protocol someone else wrote for someone else's body. That's why it never holds.

I call it the Human Blueprint, and Thursday follows the same order: your bloodwork first, then your gut, then survival mode.

Speak soon,

IndriHuman Blueprint

Normal isn't optimal

PreviewWhat your GP is actually checking for

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I hear some version of this every week.

“I got my bloods done, the doctor said everything's normal, and I still feel like rubbish.”

If that's you, you're not imagining it.

A normal range is wide on purpose. It's built to flag when something's clearly wrong, not to tell you whether you're running at your best.

So a bloke sitting at the bottom of the testosterone range and a bloke near the top get the same tick, and they'd feel like two completely different men.

Your GP's checking you're not sick, and that's an important job. I'm checking you're optimal, which is a much narrower range and a different question.

There's a second problem. A standard panel leaves out markers I'd want to see, and it reads every result on its own, one at a time.

So you end up with plenty of data and nobody connecting the dots.

That's pillar one on Thursday. I'll show you the ranges I read results against, the markers a standard panel leaves out, and what a “normal” panel looks like when you read it properly.

See you then,

IndriHuman Blueprint

a garage in Byron Bay, $120 a week

PreviewHow I ended up doing this

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I didn't get into men's health because it looked like a good career.

I dropped out of school at 16, after my dad had a severe stroke. Without a male role model, I lost my way for a while.

By my early 20s it all caught up with me… chronic gut issues, weight gain, insomnia, fatigue, and a couple of things I didn't want to talk about with anyone.

I did what you're meant to do and went to the doctor.

I was offered antibiotics and antidepressants. Every one of them was for a symptom, and nobody asked what was causing any of it.

So I left the city I grew up in and paid $120 a week to live in a garage in Byron Bay. It's also where I met the woman of my dreams.

I stopped partying and started studying PT and nutrition while working full time as a carpenter.

For years I followed what those courses taught, and I was still tired all the time. My body barely changed. Honestly, 90% of what they taught was useless.

Then I put everything I had into learning from the best functional medicine institutes in the world. All up, it's been over fifty thousand dollars of study, in blood chemistry, gut physiology, supplements, peptides and food as medicine.

That's when it clicked. Nobody had ever read my body as one system.

My testosterone doubled and my gut fully recovered. Since then I've helped 200+ men do the same.

On Thursday I'll show you the process I used on myself, and the one I use with every client now.

“I've tried everything”

PreviewI believe you, and I'd push back on one word

Hey {FIRST NAME},

This is the line I hear more than any other.

“Indri, I've tried everything.”

The naturopath, the online coach, a cupboard full of supplements, maybe a TRT clinic, hundreds of hours of podcasts, and a few late nights asking ChatGPT what's wrong with you.

I believe you, brother. Most of the men I work with had tried all of that before they found me.

One of my clients, Connor, was burnt out when he came to me. He was running on caffeine, working 7 days a week and living off microwave meals. Here's how he described it:

“I had always struggled with nutrition, not knowing what to eat or what supps I actually needed. I didn't want to waste money on supps that weren't actually helping me.”

Twelve weeks later he'd overcome the chronic fatigue and lost 8kg.

So I'd push back on one word. You haven't tried everything. You've tried pieces of it, one at a time, and nobody put the pieces together for you.

A probiotic won't get far while your nervous system's stuck in fight or flight. A testosterone booster won't get far while your gut's inflamed. And none of it means much if nobody tested you properly first.

It was never your discipline, your diet or your supplements. Nobody read your body as one system.

That's what Thursday's about. I'll show you how the pieces fit together, and the order I put them in.

See you there,

IndriHuman Blueprint

Told he'd need it for life

Preview8 years on reflux medication, and what changed

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I want to tell you about one of my clients, Luke.

Luke had been dealing with acid reflux for years. He'd been taking Nexium for 8 of them, and he'd been told he'd need it for the rest of his life.

That's a heavy thing to hear, and most men just accept it.

But reflux is a symptom. When you go after what's driving it, starting in the gut, things can change faster than you'd expect.

Here's what Luke wrote on Facebook:

“…once I began to apply the strategies Indri suggested the problem quickly went away. I now very rarely suffer from any of it at all…”

When he wrote that, he'd been off the meds for 3 months and had reflux once in that time.

Luke Bradshaw's Facebook recommendation of Indri Caruana and Human Blueprint
Luke's recommendation, word for word.

He isn't a one-off, either. Another client, Kurt, a father and business owner, had chronic acid reflux for 6 years. It was gone in 6 weeks.

That's pillar two on Thursday: the gut problem quietly dragging your testosterone down, and why so much of what men put up with starts in the gut.

Let me guess what your week looks like

PreviewFlat by 2pm is usually only the start

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Let me guess what your week looks like.

Your gut's backed up one day and you're running to the toilet the next.

You're flat by 2pm and on your third coffee just to get through the afternoon.

You get into bed wrecked, then you're wide awake at 3am with your head running, and the alarm's going off in a couple of hours.

You train hard and eat well, and the mirror doesn't show it.

You've had your bloods done and your GP said you're fine. You don't feel fine.

And at some point you've been up at midnight researching it yourself, where every answer deals with one symptom at a time.

If that's close, it's not because you're soft or lazy. The men I work with run businesses, raise kids, work shifts and train harder than most. Discipline was never their problem.

Their body had been running in survival mode for years, and nobody had read it as one system.

On Thursday at 7pm Sydney time, I'll show you how all of that connects, and where I'd start.

Why I'm teaching this for free

PreviewA fair question, and the honest answer

Hey {FIRST NAME},

You might be wondering why I'm teaching this for free.

It's a fair question, because a lot of what I'm covering on Thursday is what my clients get once their tests come back.

There are two reasons.

The first one's personal. I spent years being told I was fine by people who never looked properly. Antibiotics for my gut, antidepressants for my head, and nobody asking why. I don't want another man losing years the way I did.

The second is that I can only coach a small number of men at a time, and most men who need this will never work with me. They can still change a lot on their own if someone shows them where to look.

And yes, at the end I'll tell you how you can work with me, for anyone who wants help. If that's not for you, that's completely fine. You'll still leave with all three pillars and a clear place to start.

There's no catch and there's no pressure.

See you Thursday,

What your gut's got to do with your testosterone

PreviewThe link most men never get told about

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Pillar two on Thursday is the gut problem quietly dragging your testosterone down.

I want to give you a head start on it, because once men see it, they look at everything they've tried differently.

Most men think low testosterone is a hormone problem, so they go looking for a hormone fix.

But your testes only make what your brain asks them to make.

When your gut's irritated (low stomach acid, a bacterial overgrowth, parasites, a leaky gut), it drives low-grade inflammation through your whole body.

Chronic inflammation can turn down the signal from your brain that tells your body to make testosterone, and push cortisol up.

So you can take every booster on the shelf and still feel flat, because nothing's dealt with what's turning the signal down.

I've had most of those gut issues myself: leaky gut, parasites, H. pylori and bacterial overgrowths. Plenty of men have one or two and no idea.

One of my clients, Jye, came to me with low energy and regular psoriasis flare-ups, and he couldn't hit his goals in the gym even though he thought he was doing all the right things. Once we sorted his gut and his sleep, he wrote this:

“One thing I didn't expect was that after improving my gut health, I could now build muscle and achieve my physique goals.”

On Thursday I'll walk you through the whole chain, from the gut to the hormone, and the order I fix it in.

Speak soon,

On TRT? GP says you're fine?

PreviewThe questions that stop men turning up

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Before Thursday, I want to answer the questions that usually stop men from turning up.

“I'm already on TRT. Is this still for me?”

Yes. I work with men on TRT, and the gut and nervous system work still applies. One of my clients, Elias, is a first responder. He overcame a bacterial overgrowth, balanced his hormones on TRT and lost 7kg in 8 weeks.

“My GP says my bloods are fine.”

Your GP's checking you're not sick, and that matters. I'm checking you're optimal. It's a different job with different ranges, and on Thursday you'll see both side by side.

“I'm not in Australia.”

That's fine. The class is online and I coach men in 8 countries. If 7pm Sydney time lands at a rough hour for you, I'd still make the effort to be there live, because that's when your questions get answered.

“I don't have time for another program.”

Thursday's about an hour. And the men I work with train under three hours a week, because more training isn't better when your body's already in survival mode.

“Are you going to sell me something?”

At the end I'll tell you how to work with me if you want help. The lesson's yours either way.

See you Thursday,

PreviewA few of the messages clients send me

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I get messages like these most weeks, and I never get sick of them.

One client, after a full day at work:

“…Continuous energy throughout the day, no afternoon slumps or brain fog… I can't remember the last time I walked into the gym at 6:30pm after work with that much energy…”

A client's text to Indri about continuous energy all day and no afternoon slumps or brain fog

Another, on his sleep:

“…my sleep this week has been at an all time high…”

Another, a few months in:

“Hey Indri just weighed myself again and Ive lost 11kgs in 3 months…”

And one of my clients, Austin, who plays professional football in the A-League, on how his body recovers now:

“…my body quickly recovering from short turn around of trainings and games…”

None of that came from a magic supplement. It came from reading the body as one system, in the right order.

That's what you'll see on Thursday at 7pm Sydney time.

True or false?

PreviewThe question I'm opening with tomorrow night

Hey {FIRST NAME},

This time tomorrow we'll be live.

I'm opening the class with a quick quiz, so here's a sneak peek.

True or false: if your blood test comes back normal, your hormones are fine.

Most men answer true, because that's what they've been told.

Hang onto your answer. Tomorrow I'll put up a panel where every result gets an “in range” tick, then read it against optimal so you can see what a normal panel can hide.

I'll also give you the four things I do before any blood test, so the numbers actually mean something.

And if you stay with me to the end, The Survival Mode Reset is yours, free. It's the short daily practices I give clients in week one to calm a nervous system stuck in fight or flight: breathwork, morning light and a wind-down routine, each under ten minutes.

Before tomorrow night:

  • If you've had bloods done recently, have them handy
  • Grab a pen, because you'll want to write down the four things I do before any blood test
  • Join the WhatsApp group if you haven't, because that's where the link goes out on the night: [WHATSAPP LINK]

Why the right protocol still stalls

PreviewThe part of tonight most men underestimate

Hey {FIRST NAME},

One more thing before tonight, because it's the part men tend to underestimate.

You can get the bloodwork right and the gut right, and the protocol can still stall.

Most high performers never come out of fight or flight. From the alarm in the morning to scrolling in bed at night, your body never gets the signal that it's safe.

And in survival mode, your body turns digestion and hormones down first. When it thinks you're under threat, they're not a priority.

I know this one personally. When my business got busy, I stopped living by my own method. Long days, rising stress, too much caffeine and nicotine, and every part of my life paid the price.

One of my clients, Jack, followed his nutrition and supplement protocol to a T, and this is the change he said mattered most:

“…the most impactful shift was the stress subsiding and the calm peaceful feeling as my body relaxed, now it had the nutritional support it required to regulate my emotional state.”

Once his body had what it needed, it stopped running like it was under threat. It's all connected, which is why I read the body as one system.

Getting your body out of survival mode is pillar three tonight, and it's why The Survival Mode Reset exists.
